In dot product x is multiplied with x , y is multiplied with y and z is multiplied with z and after addition it gives an scalar number.

I learned in this lesson about the Dot product of vectors, which is a product of two vectors, which gives you a scalar quantity or a number; in other words, we convert the vectors into numbers.
