No, the cross product does not exist in 2 dimensions, as it requires three dimensions to produce a vector perpendicular to both input vectors.

In these lectures, I learned in linear algebra all the terminologies of vectors, like Matrices, cartesian coordinates, unit vectors, scalar and scalar vectors, addition of vectors, span, space, intercepts, dot products, and cross products.

When multiplying 3D vectors we use the cross-product method and it returns a new 3D vector.
