When we work on sample data it is called descriptive statistics, when the statistical result comes out from sample data and is applied to the rest of the population then it is called inferential statistics.

AOA, I learned in this lecture about the basic kinds of statistics essential for statistics; analysing data within statistics is of two major types: descriptive and inferential. First of all, we summarize the data, describe it, check for accuracy, and describe the data. and check various features of the data. When we fit the results of the sample to the entire population, it is called inferential statistics. ALLAH PAK ap ko dono jahan ki bhalian aata kry AAMEEN.
